Dr. Jonathan Sani

Halloween 2009 we decided that Jonathan would dress up as a doctor, last year he was a bat. we had big plans to walk updown our street but the weather seemed to have other plans for us. It was a good thing that they do trick or treating at Wilton Mall. Jonathan just loved seeing all the other kids all dressed up and getting treats! Every so often when we would walk past some kids he would say "WOW."

This is me and my handsome little man! I couldn't find by blue scrubs to dress up with him so I wore my red ones instead! What a great night!

Slacking in the blog dept!

I haven't been on here in sometime! My morning sickness LASTS ALL DAY which I told my doctor I can just tough it out! (not sure what I was thinking) On top of feeling sick and tired all the time, Jonathan has been dealing with a reaction to his MMR and the chicken pox vaccine! Several days after the vaccines he developed the measles, which are not contagious, and a mark on his right leg from the chicken pox vaccine. The measles spread all over his body and he ran a low grade fever for about 8 days. I was a little nervous, by his doctor said he is fine and that it happens to 20% of children. Today he is doing better but still not eating that much. My OB doctor saw me the other day and said everything looks good and we both think that I will have no problems like I did with Jonathan. I am still working out several times a week and loving it! I hope to get some pictures up soon since Jamie is coming up to visit!

Apple Picking

We went to Bowman's to pick apple's on Sunday with Jonathan. He just loved picking and eating the apples. Every morning he eats an apple with his breakfast. This by far was my favorite family event!

So Jonathan IS ALL BOY!!!! I swear he is fearless! He jumps off the couch and gives me a heart attack! He jumps off his little tykes swing. I don't think I was ever ready for a boy!!! This picture is from his second accident that involved his mouth. Just two weeks before he fell on our new furniture being the daredevil he is and hit is mouth. When he did fall his mouth it tore the forename between the two top teeth. (which was fine since it was heavy) Then on this night he jumps off something and hits the floor and bites his top lip! UGH! I will have to say I was happy daddy was home to tend to that!

So for our long Labor day weekend we decided to head to Philadelphia! I heard about the Please Touch Museum and have been wanting to take Jonathan there. He has been to the childrens museum in NYC, and in Boston so why not Philly! I was a little worried about the drive since it was a little over 5 hours long, but he did great!! While is Philly we went to the Reading Terminal Market which is a huge market place with great vendors! I just loved it, Jonathan on the other hand not so much. That day was a bad day for him! Poor boy is getting four teeth in at once and is miserable! We ran to a CVS and got some Motrin and that did the trick. I would love to go back to the museum I loved it that much!

Our Family Vacation In December!

We are going on a FAMILY vacation! Yes, you did read it right! I booked a trip to the all inclusive FDR Pebbles Resort in Jamaica! We leave on December 24 and we will be there for 10 beautiful days!!! The best part about this resort is that it caters to kids! I wanted to go on a vacation that would be fun for Jonathan too. Not only does this resort cater to kids the entire trip but each family has a nanny as soon as they arrive to the resort! I am very excited about going and playing in the sand with Jonathan! I really don't plan on getting out of my bathing suit!

It has been a pretty warm summer! Wow! So with that being said, Jonathan and I have spent a good part of it outside in his baby pool or at the sprinklers. We have been meeting great friends at the sprinklers Erin and her son Aidan. Aidan is the same age as Jonathan and they get along so great! Shannon also comes out to hang out and her boys are older and Jonathan loves them! Her boys are just WONDERFUL with Jonathan! It has been a fun summer....

All Jonathan wanted to do is walk up and down this ramp! We had to show him other stuff otherwise the whole trip would've been about the ramp!

We went to Boston just last weekend and took Jonathan to the Children's Museum! He just loved it! Now that he is walking he is just all over the place! Also Jonathan seems to think he is a lot older than he really is! He tends to try and play with all the older kids. So when we first got to the museum he had no problem trying to climb with the older kids! My child has no fear!

My 30th Birthday!

Wow! Where did the time go?! I am 30 already! My wonderful husband of course sent me beautiful flowers. I decided not to celebrate too BIG this year! Just too much going on this summer! So Farzad decided to do a special dinner for me! Also I just LOVE the cake!

Hmm who can I call?

Yes, Jonathan really can use the phone! He even calls my parents all the time in Florida! If I leave the room for a moment he is on the phone and someone is on the other end!! Usually it is Farzad's family or mine, once or twice it has been random people.

Let me first say I LOVE MY WONDERFUL HUBBY! He sent me Get Well flowers in this huge white basket and also with it a teddy bear for Jonathan. Farzad is the most amazing dad and husband and I don't give him enough credit! I had an emergency visit to the ENT this morning because the pain was worse today after four days and I had a lot of pain behind my eyes. The wonderful doctor met me at his office and removed the stents in each nostril and cleaned them out and we decide to see how I felt after that. I did feel much better, but I was so high on pain meds. I ended up doing to much today! The farmers market and playing with Jonathan outside for 45 minutes or so. I almost passed out! I am one of those patients who never listen when it comes to taking it easy! So the rest of the day and night I was in bed!

I have been telling Farzad and everyone else that I just feel like a bad mommy because I can't play with my favorite pal. I can't hold him for several weeks because his weight puts pressure on my sinuses, I can't be in the dang sun, and to top it off I am on pain pills. But this morning no matter what I didn't take any pain pills and ran over to Target to get a big straw hat to wear when I go outside.(reminder: I can't be in the sun for 3 months...my face) I was miserable by the time I was leaving and ran into Pam and Larry at my house. So back to my story, I went in got my pain meds and to Jon outside to play for a bit in the pool. He just loved it. Now for everyone to know Jon isn't to keen with mommy right now. My face is swollen, my nose is always bleeding, and I am just not his normal acting mommy so he cries when he is around me! BOO! But today was a good day..P.S. I wrote this on pain meds!!

Sinus Surgery

There are no pictures for you to see, sorry guys! But I have insomnia due to the great drug prednisone.I am on it for 7 days but tapered off each day. Most of you know that last year I suffered a great deal with my sinuses. Twelve rounds of antibiotics, several rounds of prednisone and still no relief. So since Jonathan is now almost 14 months I decided to bang it out before Farzad and I decided on having anymore little ones.
Monday I went to the surgery center and they started mt surgery at 12:40 p.m. and I was in recovery at 4:50 p.m. The pain was horrible!!!! The first thing the doctor did was made me read a piece of paper to make sure my vision was still okay. This being said he cleaned out my ethmoid sinuses (anterior and posterior) the posterior ones are behind the eyes and may cause blindness and or blurry vision. I was okay and was able to see just dandy. After a couple doses of pain meds and a lortab I was out the door.
So that night I didn't sleep a bit! I have never had so much jaw pain before in my life!!! I suffer from TMD and I guess when I was tubed in aggravated my jaw. Well the pain pills didn't touch my jaw pain. So in the morning off I went to see the good ole doctor. He confirmed the jaw complication due to the breathing tube and upped my pain meds and gave me muscle relaxers, and now I am on a liquid diet! Was this all worth it?
The worst part about this is Jonathan is scared of mommy because my face is very swollen and is bleeding. He cries and doesn't want me to hold him. It just breaks my heart! Enough of my babbling! Time shall tell if this was worth it!!

So I haven't really mastered laundry with Jonathan yet!!LOL!! He just loves to help me whenever I try to fold so it takes me twice as long. But I love to watch my little man play with all the shirts and try to put them on. Well here in this last picture we ended up with daddy's underwear around our neck, oops guess I need to work on that one!
